Erin, Sales Coordinator

Erin Athey Headshot | Atlanta Area Moms Blog

Erin and her husband, Justin, moved from Ohio to Georgia in the summer of 2016. She is a mom of three crazy and wonderful kiddos… Avery (7), Jake (5), Annie (1). Erin taught first grade for 14 years and now is a SAHM. She’s realizing the latest gig is the most challenging for sure! However, she wouldn’t change the opportunity for anything. Erin is really enjoying working with a wonderful group of women within ATLMB

Candence, Community Engagement Leader

Candence Lowe

Candence joined our team as a contributor and quickly grew as a leader and took on leading our MOMbassadors and Neighborhood Groups.

She is an outgoing introvert who makes awkward first impressions. She moved to Atlanta from South Georgia 10 years ago when she followed her then rock star boyfriend, now husband of 7 years, to the big city. After struggling with infertility for two years they finally welcomed a daughter in 2012, Finley (age 3). Just 7 months later, they were shocked to be pregnant with their surprise blessing, another little girl, Piper (age 2). With two little girls just 15 months apart, she is constantly on the verge of crazy and is so far from crunchy she has dubbed her parenting style as “soggy.” Along with being a full time mom, Candence also works as a director of a small non-profit charity. You can usually find her if you follow the sound of Taylor Swift blaring from her house, but please don’t forget to bring the margaritas!

Annie, Managing Editor

Annie is the backbone of keeping our content moving and the grammar on point.  She became a mommy in 2016 and has been an integral part to our team and the community of moms.  An Oklahoma native, Annie moved to Atlanta 10 years ago. She can’t imagine life anywhere else! Annie is a mommy to Harrison, born in September 2016. She lives outside of the city in Lawrenceville with her husband, Ryan, their fur child Luna. A higher education professional by trade, she loves to run, read, and watch all kinds of sports, but especially college football. Always cheering loudest for her Alma mater, the Oklahoma State Cowboys!
