Local Coffee Shops We Love: Celebrate National Coffee Day!

coffee shops we love

Whether you like your coffee iced, hot or with a double shot of espresso, today is a day to celebrate the “mommy juice” that keeps us all going! Atlanta has so many options… so here is a look at our favorite spots around town.

ITP Coffee Shops

Octane Coffee: With 4 locations ITP, including their newest at the Woodruff Arts Center, they have kid-friendly snacks.

Dancing Goats Coffee: We LOVE their patio at Ponce City Market. With the weather (hopefully) cooling down soon, it is a great place to sip on your favorite cup of coffee with or without your little ones. Not to mention, Batdorf & Bronson coffee is featured.

JavaVino: Located near VaHi, this cute little house, turned cafe, is great for a chat with a girlfriend while the kids are in school. And if you feel like a glass of wine, they have that too.

The Corner Cup: We are biased because it serves on our favorite local chai (Cabbagetown Chai), but this local up and coming shop located in North Decatur is one to hit up if you are in the area.

Amélie’s: Talk about character! With a shabby-chic/Anthropologie theme, this french bakery is a great place to grab a bite to eat. The pastries are hard to resist! It’s also the perfect place to host a baby shower.

Café Intermezzo: This is our go-to coffee shop to cap off an in-town date night. With the coffee menu looking more like a novel, they have endless drink options.

Chattahoochee Coffee Company: Talk about a hidden gem, located at the back of an apartment complex, along the Chattahoochee River. It has gained popularity over the last few years, so the general public can only visit during the week.

OTP

Queen Been Coffee Company: Small, family own business in McDonough, GA that has story time in the summer and a room full of kid books.

Cafe 33: Located in Marietta, they are super accommodating when ordering for you little ones that may or may not be picky.

Rev Coffee: You might have seen this spot pop up on our Instagram feed a couple of times. Clearly it is a favorite with our Smyrna-area locals. They also have a location in College Park. This can be the perfect spot to work remotely, or bring the kids in for a tasty smoothie in the summer or apple cider in the fall/winter.

Boulder Creek Coffee: This coffee shop is connected to a used and new bookstore that has an awesome kids section and train table. What’s not to love about sipping your coffee, while your kids are entertained?

Copper Coin Coffee: Pair your coffee with their berry tart or chocolate cake and you are all set! The Woodstock location has a great outdoor area for the kids to run around. The Town Brookhaven location is in a perfect spot to drop in and get your caffeine fix while running errands or shopping.

Land of a Thousand Hills: You can find this coffee shop in historic downtown Roswell and enjoy live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

CREMA: Located in Dunwoody, the outdoor patio seals the deal for us, especially as the weather starts to cool off.

{We know this doesn’t capture all the coffee shops in and around Atlanta. So leave a comment and let us know where you like to grab your favorite cup}
