Wood Toys Toddlers Will Love

With my daughters birthday and the holidays coming, I am already anticipating the “what can we get her?” from loved ones. Wood toys are some of our favorites. They are made from natural materials, are durable, and are often designed for open-ended play and creativity. In an effort to shop locally, here is a list of wood toys toddlers will love made, and are made by Georgians:

  1. Balance Boards: These balance boards from Clover and Birch will help with motor skills, and can be used to balance other toys, as bridges, or anything else your little one can imagine. {Made in Atlanta, GA} wooden balance board image

LOVE that these are all made locally! A couple of these will definitely go on Santa’s list for my twin toddlers. We have also gotten lots of mileage from Melissa and Doug’s wood play food set.

Love everyone of these! We also found a shop called Wooden Treasures. They are a local family that creates beautiful rocking horses and toy trains (like the one featured at the top of this post.) They attend the Marietta Square Artist Market every 2nd and 4th Saturday. πŸ™‚
