Gift Ideas for the Moms in Your Life

Lately, I’ve read a bunch of articles and blog posts of mom must-haves. However, I’ve noticed most of these posts are geared towards new moms and the products are usually for their babies. Mother’s Day will be here before we know it so if you’re wondering what to give to your mom, sister, aunt, etc., you’ll want to check out this mini gift guide.

Keurig Coffee Machine

For the moms who love coffee, I recommend a Keurig coffee machine. I’m still surprised  I only started drinking coffee once I had kids. I can honestly say I have started drinking more coffee after my third son was born. I don’t think I’ve met a parent yet that has never had a cup of coffee. Life has been so much busier and having a coffee machine has definitely helped in so many ways. Instead of going to Starbucks, you can easily make your own cup of coffee whenever you want. An added bonus is you will be saving a lot of money. Purchasing a cup of coffee every day can definitely add up. Keurig has such a great selection of coffee machines at affordable prices. Consider adding a pack of K-Cups or an accessory with a Keurig…I’m sure the moms in your life will love it.

The Mini Happy Planner

I’ve always loved using planners, but I have been using one consistently since I had my first son. If I don’t use a planner then I tend to forget a lot of different things. Having a planner is so essential and useful. You can keep your daily to-do lists, appointments, reminders, and other little notes all in one place. I know a lot of people may love to use their phones as a planner, but there’s just something about having things actually written down that makes me more productive. I currently use a mini happy planner from MAMBI and I love it. If your mom or any other deserving ladies you know love to use planners and stickers then I highly recommend gifting a Happy Planner.

Netflix

Let me just say that Netflix is amazing! I am a huge fan. We only recently subscribed and I still can’t believe it took us this long to actually subscribe to a plan. I am still breastfeeding my son and he still wakes up during the night, so sometimes I will watch a show on Netflix. I think gifting a Netflix subscription to a mom is a unique gift. Whether you’re gifting a subscription to a new mom or not, Netflix can really come in handy.

A New Day Everday Basic T-Shirts

For the moms who love to wear t-shirts and choose comfort when it comes to clothing, I recommend gifting a couple of basic t-shirts. I am currently obsessed with Target’s latest clothing collection, A New Day. I really love their basic t-shirts and I have them in every color. I practically live in those shirts. They are so soft and comfortable and pair well with jeans, leggings, shorts, and skirts.

Gift cards

If you’re still stuck on what to give for a Mother’s Day gift, you might want to consider a gift card. Most people love gift cards because they can easily choose what they want to spend it on. Grocery store gift cards are awesome. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a grocery store gift card. A gift card to a local clothing store or boutique is a great gift especially if you’re worried about purchasing clothing as a gift. I personally give gift cards to clothing or shoe stores rather than actually gifting clothing and shoes because I am terrible at selecting sizes.

I hope this mini gift guide has helped you decide what you are going to get the moms in your life. What would you add to this gift guide? What are some of your go-to gifts for Mother’s Day?
